The Truth Is

But would an evil king
  give great power and
  authority
to someone who might
  compete with his majesty?
The false prophet
  will never have had
  the status of a king.
And he will dress casually
  so as not to seem
to attract honor to himself
  and away from his king.

But what do they have
  to offer mankind?
They care nothing
  for obtaining eternal life.
They only want
  to be satisfied
with glory, honor,
  pleasure, and pride.
They are so deceived
by the lure of riches and of
  fame
that they think you are crazy
if you do not want the same.
They will think you're a threat
  to the whole human race
if you do not support
  their efforts of financial gain.

And in the desperate nature
  of those days,
they will not believe
  that there is any time
  to waste.
If you do not conform
  to their ways,
they will put you in jail
  or you will be slain.

For the false prophet
  will be so zealous
  for his king
that he will not
  tolerate any opposition
from any man on the street.
Because of the distress
  that will occur
  at that time,
they will not want there to be
  any question where your loyalties
  lie.
If you submit to his regime
  and obey,
then they will tattoo this
  evil king's name
on your right hand
or on the top of your face.
But if you do not comply
  with their evil ways,
then they are determined
  to kill you
  and erase your name.

They will destroy
  all the church buildings
of the Lamb that was slain.
And instead they will honor
  something profane.
They honor this king
  and accept his name
because they only want
  wealth and riches
  and all that is vain.
With gold and silver
  they honor this man.
And they idolize him
with the wealth that they have.
So this false prophet
will make a statue of him.
And they will bow down to it
when it is set in its stand.
For all they care about
  is material gain,
and so they worship
  what their hands have made.
