  will consume the earth.
And the world
  will surely burn.
And the nations
  will go mad with terror.
For they will see
  that the end is near.
Their will be
  riots in the streets.
Hatred and violence
  shall breed.
And all the evil
  that had been
  seething underneath
shall finally be plainly seen.

A cry for justice
  goes up in the land.
The rich and powerful
  demand order again.
They elect a powerful
  king over them
to restore order to the
  nations.
They support him
  with all the strength
  they have.
They claim that he is
  a great man.
They give him control
  of their mighty men.
They bow their will
  to him.

And he will seize control
  of all the nations.
He will seize control
  of their communications.
He will take control
  of their transportation.
No one can wander
  outside his door
  without his permission.

He will declare martial law
  over the nations.
He will turn the world
  into a prison.
He will mark them with numbers
  like cattle
  in order to keep track
  of them.
And anyone who longs
  to live free from this
will find himself convicted
  of rebellion.

They will not tolerate
  any descent
from any other politics
  or religion.
Anyone who rebels
  against his arrogance
shall be condemned to death.

The rich will honor him
  in order to keep their
  possessions.
The poor will obey
  simply because they are fed.
And everyone will
  honor and praise this man
because they fear the threat
  of death
  that he represents
if they should reject him.

So his influence spreads
  as his empire grows.
And he will demand
  more respect
  as he gains more control.
