The Truth Is

No longer
  will the world be ruled
with the sword
  of the cruel.
But the nations
  shall be ruled
by the purest faith
  in what is true.

For the saints of God
  will rise from the dead.
And they will preach about
  God's righteousness.
And there will be
  plenty of grace
  for those who repent.
But there will be
  a stinging rebuke
  for wickedness.

For those who sin
do so because of their
  expectation of punishment
as they take their risk
for fleeting moments
  that please the flesh.
And at the word of those
  who know what's correct,
they will
  suffer the consequence
  of what they expect.

Thus
righteousness shall be
  glorified.
For the earth shall be ruled
  by those who
  cannot die.
So their
  love for the truth
  cannot be compromised.
And they will
  never be tempted
  to accept a bribe.
For they have no fear
  that they might
  starve or die.
And their
  love for the Truth
is what has
  given them live.

For many
  thousands of years
the earth has be ruled
  by violence and fear.
Kingdoms have come,
  and kingdoms have gone.
And their glory
  has also disappeared.
They were
  established by war,
and they were
  destroyed by the sword,
and their fame
  has only resulted
  in tears.

But now
  that this world
  has been so
  harshly judged,
shall we
  repeat their mistakes
  all over again.

So it will be proven
  that the earth
  can be ruled
by the purest faith
  in the absolute Truth.
Then we shall see
  how wrong
  they have been
to rule the earth
  by the threat of abuse.

And how long
  will Christ
  rule by His faith?
How long will it take
  to vindicate
the authority established
  by nothing but faith?

Other kingdoms on earth
  have lasted one hundred,
  two hundred, or three hundred
  years
only to end their reign
  in chaos and fear.

But
the Kingdom of Christ
  will last well over
  one thousand years.
And its leaders
  will never go down
  in defeat or despair.
