But can anyone take over the entire world without a fight, without a war? If others do as he has done, then surely there will be a confrontation. So where is the place of this confrontation? Where will be this conflagration? Can someone rule the entire world from the farthest reaches of the land? Can someone control all nations from the remotest part of this planet? Since this central issue concerns the heart of all men, they shall meet at the center of all nations. And since this issue has such a religious consequence, they will gather at Jerusalem. For when one gains strength and poses a threat, the others rally in defense. And when nations unite their strength to impose their whims, others will gather weapons against them. One alliance of nations will gather their forces at the Valley of Armageddon. The other alliance of nations will gather their forces in the desert Negev. And it shall be North against the South, East against the West. And Jerusalem will be the desire of their conquest. Yet why do the nations go to war? Is it justice that they are fighting for? Is their intent to protect the poor? Is it righteousness that they adore? They fight for the glory and honor of man. They struggle to control the land. They fight for the wealth that others have. And they wage their war and kill their men just for the right to brag. This is the way is was at first, and this is the way it will all end. The most arrogant king will take control and exalt himself on the Holy Hill. But none of these nations do God's Will. It's their intent to destroy and kill.
